About Dance Club at USF
Our Mission
Dance Club at USF is a free student organization at the University of South Florida dedicated to promoting the art of dance, embracing individual expression, and fostering a sense of belonging. We strive to provide a supportive space for both new and seasoned dancers. Our club offers a wide range of dance styles and welcomes members of all skill levels.
When and Where You Can Find Us
Our practices vary in times, days, and spaces every semester. Every class is held in a studio at the USF Recreation Center. Follow our Instagram (@danceclubusf) to stay updated each semester!
How You Can Join
You MUST be a student at the University of South Florida (undergrad and graduate students welcome!). You are welcome to simply show up to class. However, we recommend joining our group on BullsConnect and registering for the upcoming class(es) you would like to take.
Want To Be an Instructor?
Instructor applications open monthly. Anyone who is a USF student can apply. Keep a lookout for open applications on our Instagram (@danceclubusf) or LinkTree.
What To Wear
When deciding what to wear, the key is confidence! Wear clothes that you are comfortable in and allow you freedom to move around. Shoes vary depending on class, but don't worry if you don't own any dance shoes. You are welcome to go barefoot or sport your favorite pair of socks. Keep an eye on our Instagram for more details depending on class type.
